Brakebush Brothers, a family owned and operated company specializing in providing chicken to the foodservice industry, has purchased Wells Food Processing in Wells, Minnesota. The purchase was effective April 21, 2016. Wells Food Processing was previously owned by North Central Equity LLC.
Brakebush has its processing facility and corporate headquarters in Westfield, Wisconsin, and a raw portioning plant in Irving, Texas. The purchase of the Wells plant adds a third processing facility and second fully cooked operation. “Adding the Wells facility puts us in a great position to continue to grow our existing customer base and aggressively pursue new business” notes company President Scott Sanders. Brakebrush Brothers is an Allied Industry Leader member of the National Chicken Council.
