Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 29 signed a decree that extends the ban on certain food and agricultural products from the United States, Canada, the European Union, Australia, Norway, Ukraine, Albania, Montenegro, Iceland, and Lichtenstein until December 31, 2017, according to a Global Agricultural Information Network (GAIN) report from the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service.
The list of products covered by the decree is the same as those named in the previous June 2015 decree and includes all meat, fish, dairy, fruit, and vegetables. The GAIN report is available here.
