Data from Technomic, a market research company,  shows that chicken brands are some of the fastest growing limited service food chains.  Limited service food chains include both fast food and fast-casual restaurants.

Technomic singled out three companies as examples of strong growth in the sector, including Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, with 2015 year-over-year U.S. sales up 26 percent.  Nando’s had sales up 33 percent and PDQ went up by 61 percent.   Expansion and fresh, innovative menus were cited as the underlying reason for the strong performance in this segment.
