Bret Baier, Chief Political Anchor for FOX News Channel and Executive Director of Special Report with Bret Baier, is slated to speak on October 23 at the National Chicken Council’s 70th Annual Conference in Washington, D.C.

Bret Baier currently serves as anchor and executive editor on the “Special Report with Bret Baier,” the top-rated cable news program in its timeslot and consistently one of the top five shows in cable news. His political coverage over the years has made him one of the most trusted journalists in the past decade. For his outstanding work, he received the Sol Taishoff Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism.

Baier’s extensive reporting experience as former chief White House and national security correspondent brought him through the halls of the Pentagon, to the war fields of Iraq and Afghanistan as well as to the campaign trails of elections past and present. As the anchor of the “must-see” daily program for political news, Baier has traveled the world with various administrations and military officials and reported from 74 countries.

Baier has conducted numerous interviews with world leaders, sitting presidents, politicians and celebrities throughout his tenure with FNC, including most recently Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Department of Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, to name a few.

Ahead of Super Bowl LIX, Baier sat down with President Donald Trump and, weeks before the 2024 election, he conducted FNC’s first formal sit-down interview with then-Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris. The interview was the highest rated non-primetime interview in the history of cable news.

Bret Baier, host of FOX News Audio’s The Bret Baier Podcast, featuring “Common Ground” and “The All-Star Panel,” is also the author of six New York Times bestsellers. His latest book, To Rescue the American Spirit: Teddy Roosevelt and the Birth of a Superpower, will be released in October, and in addition to his keynote address, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in a special book signing at the Annual Conference.

The National Chicken Council is most grateful for BMO Bank’s continued sponsorship of the keynote speaker at the Annual Conference.
