USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) on April 10 purchased chicken products as indicated below for distribution to the school lunch child nutrition and other related domestic food assistance programs for fiscal year 2013.
Deliveries are to be made from June 1 through June 30.

In addition, AMS has published the 2013-2014 AMS purchase schedule, which is available under “Commodity Purchase Programs” at www.ams.usda.gov/commoditypurchasing. AMS said the schedule is intended to represent the general plans for the procurement of commodity products for domestic food and nutrition assistance programs, including the National School Lunch Program. Please note that products and procurement timelines may be added, changed, or removed at any time in response to market conditions and program needs, and AMS may do so without prior notice.
