An industry leaders panel is slated as part of the general session program during the National Chicken Council’s upcoming Annual Conference. The conference is scheduled October 2-3 in Washington D.C. at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The panel members will discuss their views on what is ahead for the industry in 2014, including their outlook for chicken and competing meats relating to production, consumption, and exports. The panel, which will be moderated by Bill Roenigk, who is currently consulting with NCC and is NCC’s former senior vice president and chief economist, will also touch on regulatory and legislative issues that are impacting the industry.
