Rick Thomason has been named president and general manager of Tyson de Mexico. Thomason joined Tyson Foods in 1991 and held several different positions within the company’s finance and accounting group. He was most recently vice president of accounting for Tyson Foods’ international businesses. Thomason will oversee all of Tyson de Mexico’s daily operations.
Tyson Foods has had a presence in Mexico for more than 20 years. Tyson de Mexico is a vertically integrated poultry producer and marketer with about 5,400 employees. It processes about 2.7 million chickens per week at three processing plants.
