The Minnesota Board of Animal Health announced yesterday that all control areas in Minnesota have been released from quarantine, meaning no permits are needed to move poultry or poultry products within Minnesota. For interstate movement requirements of poultry or products, companies must continue to contact the state of destination.
According the Board, a total of 43 farms have restocking agreements in place. At least 31 of those farms already have birds back in their barns. There have been no new infected flocks in Minnesota since June 5.
The Board will continue to provide updates on its website.
