George’s Inc. announced that Susan White has been named chief financial officer, overseeing all aspects of George’s finance and accounting functions.
“Carl and I are extremely pleased that Susan has joined the George’s team,” said Charles George, co-CEO/President. “Her leadership skills, character and experience in the poultry and food industry will significantly contribute to the high performance of our company and execution of our strategic growth plan.”
White has 28 years of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to joining George’s, she served in various roles in the poultry industry gaining diverse expertise as she advanced at Tyson Foods from sales accountant to vice president and treasurer. Her experience includes finance and accounting support for poultry and prepared food operations, sales administration and pricing, shared services, corporate finance and treasury.
Susan White graduated Cum Laude with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Arkansas and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Susan also serves on the Board of Directors for Northwest Arkansas Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
