The National Chicken Council annual “Day in Washington” meeting is scheduled Wednesday, March 2 and Thursday, March 3.    The headquarter hotel for the meeting is the Washington Court Hotel on Capitol Hill.

The “Day in Washington” meeting provides an opportunity for representatives from NCC member companies to meet with Members of Congress to discuss legislative issues of significant interest to the chicken industry.  All NCC members are invited to participate in this meeting, and there are no registration fees to attend.  Meeting participants will be responsible for booking and picking up the cost of their hotel rooms at the Washington Court Hotel.  If you wish to attend, please use the following link to inform NCC of your plans to participate no later than February 9.

Thursday, March 3

7:30 am                Continental Breakfast: Rep. David Rouzer (R-NC) to Speak

9:00 am-             Capitol Hill Appointments Begin in both the House and Senate
