Gemstone Foods, LLC has joined the National Chicken Council as an allied leader member company. William T. Andersen recently joined Gemstone Foods as the company’s new president and CEO and will serve as the official representative to the National Chicken Council.
Gemstone Foods’ corporate offices are located in Brandon, MS. Gemstone Foods processing operations are based in Decatur, Alabama. Bill Andersen most recently held the position of executive vice president and president of USA proteins at Keystone Foods. Andersen oversaw a $2 billion beef, poultry, and fish products business. He previously held positions at Southeastern Mills, Gold Kist, and Tyson Foods.
