USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) has issued a draft Federal Purchase Program Specification (FPPS) for Cooked Chicken Strips, December 30, 2016. Changes from the previous supplement are in blue font and the document can be viewed here. Major changes include:

Replace “Technical Proposal” with “Production Plan” throughout document; Section 570-Change natural proportion of White to Dark Meat (50/50) to 70/30; Section 581- Increase marinate from 10 percent to 15 percent; and Section 595-Incorporate a length range 1-4 with a 10 percent allowance and increase minimum width from 3/8 to 1/2inch.
