In the wake of devastation in Houston, Texas as a result of the week’s hurricane, Allen Harim is taking a truck loaded with 40,000 pounds of chicken from its Harbeson, Delaware plant and heading for Houston.
Allen Harim said the chicken will be donated to Operation BBQ Relief, an organization that has mobilized and is on the ground in Texas feeding first responders and those impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The truck should arrive in Houston on Saturday.
