USDA this week released its February monthly and 2022 annual Cold Storage reports, showing total chicken in cold storage facilities up three percent in February and up slightly year-over-year.
Total frozen poultry supplies on January 31, 2023 were up three percent from the previous month and up 13 percent from a year ago, according to the February Cold Storage report. Total stocks of chicken were down seven percent from the previous month but up 12 percent from last year, the report noted.
