Each week, NCC will feature in a short spotlight column the official representative from each of our Allied Leader and Allied Member companies. This week’s Allied Leader Member Spotlight is Callie McQuain, DVM, MAM, DACPV, who is the Technical Services Manager for U.S. Poultry at EW Nutrition.

We asked Callie three questions:

In 2-3 sentences, describe what good or service your company provides to the broiler industry.

EW Nutrition supports poultry operations with innovative products and veterinary assistance to customers. Pretect D and Ventar D are 2 of our feed additive phytomolecules that focus on gut health. Grippozon and Activo Liquid are 2 water soluble phytomolecules that provide relief before needing antibiotics.

Can you briefly describe your position and responsibilities within the company?

My role for EW Nutrition is Technical Services Manager for US Poultry. I facilitate the research trials for our products as well as help support our customers. I enjoy being hands-on with the birds and feel that I bring value through being in the field as much as possible.

What is your favorite chicken dish?

My favorite chicken dish is my mom’s chicken casserole.
