Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said this week that the inaugural Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission report is planned to be released next week.
Kennedy made the announcement in an appearance on Fox News’ Bret Baier’s Special Report.
In mid-February, President Trump signed an Executive Order (EO) to establish a Make America Healthy Again Commission, which is to be chaired by Secretary Kennedy.
The EO directed the commission to provide “government-wide recommendations” to improve the diet and health of Americans, including on “the American diet, absorption of toxic material, medical treatments, lifestyle, environmental factors, Government policies, food production techniques, electromagnetic radiation, and corporate influence or cronyism.”
Dr. Marty Makary, commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), joined Secretary Kennedy in the interview and noted that the report will include elements of the 2025-2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
