Key EPR deadlines in California

On November 7, 2025, in Environmental, by Tom Super

Key extended producer responsibility (EPR) deadlines are approaching in California. Obligated producers were required to complete their California registration through Circular Action Alliance’s (CAA) Producer Portal by September 5, 2025. CAA’s reporting portal opened September 15 and supply reports for the 2023 data year are due by November 15. The supply data producers submit to CAA will be used to establish the source reduction baseline in California. The 2025 producer reports will also inform draft fee rate ranges for early fees in 2026 and for the 2027 program year. More information on reporting can be found on CAA’s website here.
