Animal Agriculture Alliance announces date, theme of its 2026 Stakeholders Summit

The Animal Agriculture Alliance, of which NCC is a member, this week announced the theme of its 2026 Stakeholders Summit: High Steaks: Navigating Pressure on Animal Protein. Speaking proposals that fit the theme will be accepted through November 14, 2025 and can be submitted here. The 2026 event is scheduled for May 5-7 in Kansas City, Mo. Registration will open in January.

Eggs set, chicks placed, broilers produced report

U.S. total broiler slaughter data for the week ending September 20, 2025, is estimated by USDA’s Poultry Market News Service to be 175,005,000 broilers, a 2-percent increase from the same week a year earlier.
