The Animal Agriculture Alliance’s Stakeholders Summit, set for May 5-6, 2016, is returning to the Washington, D.C. area after taking the show on the road to Kansas City in 2015.

With the theme of “Securing Animal Agriculture’s Future: Action, Please,” the conference will focus on securing a bright future for animal agriculture by finding solutions to the challenges facing the industry today. Attendees will hear from thought-provoking speakers, participate in engaging discussions, and leave with actionable ideas that they can implement in their operations or in their business.

The agenda is taking shape and promises to once again offer an outstanding lineup of speakers. Yvette D’Entremont, also known as the ‘Sci Babe,’ will speak about challenges and solutions in communicating science and Andrew Campbell, the Canadian dairy farmer behind the “Farm 365” social media campaign, will share his experience with consumer engagement and activist pressure.

The conference is an opportunity for farmers, ranchers, processors and anyone who has a role in producing meat, milk and eggs to connect with fellow industry stakeholders; engage in detailed discussions with attendees and speakers; and protect the future of animal agriculture by taking action.
