The National Chicken Council (NCC) this week announced that Harrison Kircher, a 10 year staff veteran, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Government Affairs.

Kircher joined NCC in 2011 and has spent time as a Government Affairs Associate, Manager, Director and Vice President on the legislative affairs team. His primary focus is advancing NCC’s lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill, educating members of Congress and their staffs on a range of policy issues including agriculture, immigration, labor, energy and trade. Prior to joining NCC, Kircher worked in advertising on the IBM account at Ogilvy & Mather in New York, and aided in Robert Hurt’s 2010 congressional campaign victory. He is a 2009 graduate of the University of Virginia.

“Harrison has been a dedicated staff member for more than a decade, and has been instrumental in advancing the interests of the broiler industry on Capitol Hill,” said NCC President Mike Brown in making the announcement. “His performance, success, and years of hard work on behalf of the chicken industry are proven assets to our members and make today’s announcement well deserved.”
