Darling Ingredients this week was named to Newsweek’s list of America’s Most Responsible Companies for 2024.

Darling landed #129 out of the 600 U.S. companies included in the list and secured the #13 ranking within the Consumer Goods category. Darling had previously been on the list but moved up over 60 spots from 2023 and 300 spots since 2022.

Newsweek’s list, which is jointly evaluated with Statista, ranks companies’ commitments to corporate responsibility.

“Being acknowledged among America’s Most Responsible Companies in Newsweek’s 2024 rankings is an honor,” Darling Ingredients’ senior vice president of investor relations, sustainability, and communications Suann Guthrie said. “Our transformation of perceived waste into essential products signifies our commitment to sustainability, responsible business practices, and robust governance.”
