USDA slightly raised its estimates for broiler production and exports for this year, according to the “World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates” report issued this week from the department’s World Agricultural Outlook Board.
Chicken exports this April were 294,991 metric tons valued at $372.80 million compared with 293,484 tons valued at $370.12 million in April 2012, an increase of 0.5 percent and 0.7 percent for quantity and value, respectively.
