Popeyes hosted its first-ever Facebook live event on Wednesday in honor of National Fried Chicken Day.  Celebrating more than four decades of bringing Louisiana-style fried chicken to guests, Popeyes invited fans from all over the country to join the Facebook Live Drive-Thru Bash and featuring, for a limited time, its $5 box of boneless wings.

During lunchtime on July 6, Popeyes Live Drive-Thru Bash featured an improv actor and musician interacting with fans online in real time. Some viewers also tried to win Popeyes $5 Boneless Wing Bash box be brought right to their doorstep, creating a drive-thru experience at home.

“All the things you love about our authentic Louisiana-style bone in chicken are now available in our new boneless wing, and National Fried Chicken Day is the perfect opportunity to celebrate,” says Hector A.
